A Day of Exposure is Coming!

“...God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my
gospel.” -Romans 2:16

What secrets are you keeping about yourself that you fear if they should ever come to
light and you become exposed, people would think differently about you than they do
at present? Why is it that you retain such a fear of being “found-out” in that area of
your life? Is it not due in part to the fact that you know it to be sin, your “conscience
also bearing witness” to this reality? Is it not also because you fail to repent from the
wickedness, for you are unready, and thus, unwilling to let go of the habit just now?
Oh, how deceitful is the human heart! Many attempt to excuse their wrong behavior
and immoral practices by either lessening God’s law concerning the issue or else by
denying God’s existence altogether. But, will you not consider that a day is coming
when all that has been done in the darkness will be brought out into the open and into
the light? This will be a day when by Christ’s Gospel, God will judge the secrets of men.

My friend, do you claim to be a believer in Jesus having placed your faith in His Gospel
for your eternal salvation? Let the foundation of the new birth be laid well in a
person’s life before ever the walls of doctrine and biblical truth are built upon it.
Should we cheapen “repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ”
with regards to salvation, we must not be surprised if with the passing of time the
cracks of one’s former life begin to reveal themselves again. Let no child of God claim
that a return to their old life could ever happen to them, for “let him that thinketh he
standeth take heed lest he fall.” We must not permit the backbone of the Gospel, the
judgment of God to come, to be removed or neglected from our message, for where
there is not a conviction of sin there will be no true coming to Christ. The Lord will
come, ye lost and blind, in darkened clouds of storm; the appointed Judge of all
mankind will then expose our truest form!
